[kovarex] [0.17.8] Train rail signal causes crash

I was making a railway system and as soon as the train passed a certain signal my game crashed.
Everytime I redo the following steps the game crashes.

Reproduction:
  • Open my save
  • Remove signal above character
  • As soon as the train starts moving, place the signal back on the original position
  • After the train passes the second station the game will crash
