(SOLVED)[0.17.6] Crashes on startup (macOS Mojave)

I used the install from the Factorio website, and the game crashes immediately on startup with an unknown error message. I'm not running any mods. Here is the log:

I don't know if it helps diagnose the issue or not, but 0.17.6 launches and runs fine in OS X 10.10.5.

Update: I am able to launch 17.9 renamed from a new location, not sure if the update or the location change fixed it but I'm going to mark this solved.

Thanks for letting us know. The crash log didn't contain useful information about where the crash originated from ... so I have no clue what fixed it for you.
