Reported for version 0.11.1, Windows 7 x64

Describe the problem as best as you can.
Ever since I started using construction blueprints Factorio has been crashing with a 'Factorio has stopped working' error message.
I haven't found an exact way of reproducing the error however it is quite frequent. (In my save-game the top wall with laser turrets has crashed me more than 10 times).
Sometimes it happens when:
- hovering the blueprint,
- clicking (mouse) on the blueprint.
- using numeric keys to select the blueprint.
- placing the blueprint.
- after placing the blueprint. While being built.

Attached is the problematic save game (sssaaavvvveeeeeee) and the current log file. Sadly, the logfile contains jackshizzle which might not be of any help. I guess factorio crashes faster than it is able to write the error information to the current log.

- windows 7 x64
- intel core i7 860
- 16GB ram
- 2x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460's, in SLI. SLI enabled.

Are you sure you don't have other issues (possibly hardware) going on? I'm not able to find anything that crashes in relation to the blueprint. I played with it for about 10 minutes placing ,selecting, moving around, clicking and dragging it, placing it over stuff/rotating it, letting it be built and deconstructed and nothing caused any errors.

I can't find it now, but over the weekend I saw some remarks about blueprints with walls crashing in certain situations. Could this be the case for you as well? In other words: are crashes happening with any blueprints, or do they have walls (or other specific components) in common?
I don't have OCD, I have CDO. It's the same, but with the letters in the correct order.

I've only tried my straight and corner blueprints. Will try with others as well.

hi there,
i have the same/similar problem as it seems. whenever i select my "wall only" blueprint for more than 2 times the game crashes. i tried to delete the blueprint and recreate it but that did not help. funny thing is, i can use it two times, than save and load the game again and re-use it two times more, no crash at all this way. :lol: the crash seems to happen with wall blueprints only, laser turret or steam engine blueprints work flawlessly. maybe has something to do with the introduction of gates or change to the research for walls. i am running win7x64 and tried both the x32 & x64 version of the game, even tinkering with the game settings doesn't help.

My game has also crashed, when selecting a wall only pattern. Haven't found a way to reproduce it, but I can confirm it happening to me aswell.

I've noticed this happens right after an autosave. It won't crash if you save manually after an autosave.

The problem seems to be when you use a blueprint with walls in it and hover over any railroad, the game tries to treat the wall as a gate and changes the rail into the version that has a gate over it, then freezes and crashes 100% of the time

Thanks for the reports, the issue is now solved for the 0.11.2 release.
