Hi there! I've played multiplayer today with my friend and want to leave some feedback.
1. We have a lot of problems when tried to play with more then 2 players simultaniously. Actually game freezed every 3-5 minutes.
2. You cannot connect back after disconnection (Always got error box with some 'socket blocked' message). I hope you will fix it, because reconnection itself is pretty fast, but not when you restart game every time.
3. When i try to make some unavailiable action (for example place building into restricted location) host hear error sound, but not me (this is lol)
4. Please save last join IP in the textfield. Copy past every time is sad >_>
Anyway this is really cool version! We have a lot of fun and still playing (after some freezes in first 30 mins the game is very stable now. Maybe active map exploraion causes them)

No. 3 at least has already been reported. I don't know about the others though.

No. 4: yes please! Testing mods with two clients open and reconnecting 30 times an hour, copy pasting the ip gets old fast

If you have to reconnect, you can launch the game with the command : factorio --mp-connect IP:port
You can do it inside a shortcut, so 1 click = launch + reconnect the game
same command exist for the server side : factorio --mp-load-game save_file
It exist for Linux, I think it should exist for Windows too

Thanks for the report. No. 3 and 4 are fixed already.
As for 1. There might be issues getting multiple people in the game but once they are there (and on a good connection) it should work fine.
As for 2. Could you maybe attach (copy / paste) relevant parts from the log file?

I have the same problem while playing with my friend. The game freezes sometimes after an autosave (!). (i forgot the error code, sry )1. We have a lot of problems when tried to play with more then 2 players simultaniously. Actually game freezed every 3-5 minutes.
edit: if we load the autosave the game is at the save point where it freezed (means nothing got lost). I hope i could help you to find the error
