[0.13.18] Update to 14.1 fails: "info.json has unexpected content"

Hi I get this message when trying to update my game. Maybe it is because Good Old Games does not have the update yet, or am I supposed to be able to update? I know it's not my firewall, since I turned it off. Thank you, I tried to see if anyone else reported this, but I didn't see it posted.

Updating to a new big release is unreliable in general, the fastest way to fix this is to just download the latest version manually and copy the config.ini, the player-data.json and if you care, both of the achievement files in the new installation.

I wasn't able to locate those files, but I found another way to fix it. GOG galaxy had the experimental update in the Factorio backups section, so when I downloaded 14.1 from there, and then installed it, I was happy to find that it automatically copied all of the achievements, saved games, and option data.
