[0.9.x] Underground Express Belts Stop Working

Here they stop (when moving a square over)


I have tried rebuilding the entire belt, clearing the belts, and so on to no avail. There are other times where only one side of the belt works and not the other.

This had happened to me on an older version save game I was playing. The one here is a new game I started in v0.9.1, so it couldn't be a "version change" issue with the save.


Here's another spot where it stopped working:


Any idea what would be causing this? It is a clean install of 0.9.1 (I uninstalled the old one, deleted the %appdata% folder, and the program files(x86)/factorio folder.

I'm on W7 x64 running the 32-bit factorio.

Just to check, I changed them out with fast belts, and the flow starts again as expected:



But replacing them with express belts stops it up again. All in the same locations. All facing the right way (input-output)
