[0.8.8] New Hope 03- No Computer found in Southeast

Problem: I cannot finish the New Hope 03 level, killed off all of the bases, but there is no computer to pick up and trigger the next events. I know this level was tinkered with over the last few updates, so maybe someone forgot to update it with the computer?

Strange, the wreck isn't there. I managed to destroy the wreck by shooting it, isn't it possible that you in a zeal of battle destroyed it too?

edit: i agree, it should be indestructible

I suppose that is entirely possible. In any case, it should probably drop the needed item, or be indestructible. Sorry, no time to check it right now, I will play it again some time this week. Thank you for the reply.

Hello, the wreck is marked as indestructible now (for 0.9), so it should hopefully always be there

Hello,
I just ran into the same problem with the wreck and computer not located on the map. I can confirm that it was NOT destroyed by my weapons. Luckily there was a quicksave made when I was close to the enemy base (before attacking), and there are no spaceship parts.
I's there a file that I can edit to continue with the story?

edit- oops I just realized that I'm running version 0.8.8 and not the newest one.

Hello, the easiest fix is to cheat the computer to yourself.

Open console (~ key) and copy paste this command there:

game.player.insert{name="computer", count=1}
