[0.12.6] Desyncs since switching to headless server.

A friend of mine and me have been playing modded for over 22 hours now, without desyncs or crashes. However, network is rather sluggish and downloading the map when joining the other player is 10-50 kb/s when the connection in both directions available is magnitudes higher.

We're both running 64 bit Factorio on 64 bit win 7.
In trying to workaround the network issues, I set up a ubuntu 14.04 headless server (64 bit factorio) on a 100/100 mbit's line. Download speed is still ~20kb/s. The real issue is, though, that after a few seconds of being connected, a desync occurs. This can be repeated any number of times. The player connected does nothing but stand still. It takes between 5 and 30 seconds to desync and always does.

Hi, thanks for the report. I am running heavy mode simulation on your save right now, but I can see you are using Treefarm-Lite. We have solved desync issue related to this mod for 0.12.7 already.

We detected, that there is another issue with the evoGUI mod.
It used some non-deterministic logic, but updating to the newer version of the mods seems to fix the problem.

So the conclusion is:

As the desync was not fixed with the above mentioned updates.
