[1.1.81] Can't type in text boxes on steam deck

Playing while docked with keyboard and mouse. Only started happening in this version.

1. Open any text box like naming a train stop or changing a combinator setting or changing blueprint settings. Even naming a save file.
2. Try to type anything in the text box, nothing happens.

Can highlight text and copy/paste/delete but no actual typing in the text boxes.
No problems with any other keyboard controls in the game and keyboard works fine outside of the game.

Everything works as normal in 1.1.80 stable when I tried switching to that.

I am experiencing the same behaviour when using the on-screen steam deck keyboard (opened via Steam key + X). Cannot type in any text fields when running 1.1.81, whereas everything works fine on 1.1.80.
