I crashed on the second mission in the campaign, right after I took the pistol and ammo.

I had this problem on two completely different computers. 2nd tutorial mission.

However, I don't think its from picking up the gun/ammo. It appears to happen at the same time rather than the same event. I had it happen while standing still a bit after the gun/ammo part.

As soon as ammo is equipped the game crashes. The problem is /data/base/campaigns/demo/level-02/control.lua

Yeah, the second mission is working now. But the third mission crashes instead :(

Yep... after x ticks in mission 3 game.player.surface.set_multi_command causes the game to crash.

comment out...

    game.player.surface.set_multi_command({type=defines.command.attack,
                                        target=game.player.character,
                                        distraction=defines.distraction.by_enemy},
                                        global.attack_count)
...should stop the mission from crashing but creeper attacks may be disabled.
