I can set a parameter variable in the station name to an item without problem.
But if I select a signal icon (like A-Z, 0-9 icons, etc) It doesn't set the parameter in the station name. It leaves it as the parameter icon.
[kovarex] Blueprint parameters in trainstation names not using Signal icons
Re: [kovarex] Blueprint parameters in trainstation names not using Signal icons
Just noticed this happens with recipes also (tried it with the advanced oil processing and same issue as signals)

This impacts train groups as well.

Re: [kovarex] Blueprint parameters in trainstation names not using Signal icons
I noticed this as well and I would like to add that this seems to happen to train stop names in both of these cases:
1. When creating a blueprint Factorio will fail to replace a signal in the train stop name with the parameter signal, even though it shows up as able to in the parameter menu inside a blueprint. The resulting blueprint contains the original signal in the train stop name.
2. When setting down a blueprint with a parameter signal manually added to the train stop name the game will prompt for the new value, yet if this value is a signal it will fail to replace, leaving behind the parameter signal.
Funnily enough will can replace one parameter signal for another parameter signal of a different number in case 2.

Parameters in Description Fields are not being replaced either.
Re: [kovarex] Blueprint parameters in trainstation names not using Signal icons
Hello, thank you for the report, it is now fixed for 2.0.10
P.S. It is also fixed for entities and space locations.

I'm on 2.0.10 and it doesn't seem to be fixed yet.
Re: [kovarex] Blueprint parameters in trainstation names not using Signal icons
same here- either it doesn't behave like i expected wrt how to set the parameters in the blueprint menu or it still doesn't work in 2.0.10
here's a blueprint and attached are pics (in 2.0.10)
i would expect the parameters to replace names of train stop entities as well as schedules of the trains, but it only seems to do those for parameter#0 (the recipe) and not parameter#1(ingredient of parameter#0)

Re: [kovarex] Blueprint parameters in trainstation names not using Signal icons
Hello the original bug is still resolved.
The situation desciribed here is completely different issue, of request for recipe ingredients parametrisation to work also for fluid ingredients (which I did for the next release of 2.0.12)
