[Genhis] Freeze on "Show only essential technologies" in PyAlienLife

Exactly what the title says, when in a game with PyAlienLife enabled, if you open the research menu with "t" then click the "Show only essential technologies" checkbox, the game instantly freezes and you have to kill the game.
