Minor issue - I have Linux, probably impacts other operating systems.
My music is is completely off (0%) but when launching the game it plays the "Factorio intro jingle" music. Through a bit of trial and error I figured out that this is controlled by "GUI effects" now. It appears to be a recent change because I don't recall it making noise until recently.

I made some changes to how that sound file is played and a side effect is that it now it is treated as a GUI effect.
I believe this is a minor issue, but let me know if it's a problem for you.

In the end I decided to fix it.

It was a minor issue, I've got thousands of hours in the game and I usually have my own music or a video playing on the second screen which is why I have the music off, but I had to hear the intro jingle especially during periods of many restarts (ie changing mods or startup settings) . It's a small thing but means a lot to me!
