[0.17.29] Game crashed while trying to make a blueprint

I was about to use a blueprint for copying some assemblers and the game crashed.

I don't know if it is related to the crash, but I use both the Linux and Windows versions with the same save. The crash happened while I was on the Linux version.

Easy reproduction: Open blueprint library. Hover over blueprint book that is in the library.

I get the same behavior. It seems to happen when showing the tooltip, since if you have tooltip delay, you can briefly mouse over the blueprint without it crashing. This also happens when a library blueprint is in the hotbar.

Same thing happened to me, updated to
0.17.29 and clicked on blueprint, hover over blueprint book and game crashed. In windows

I can also confirm the same crash upon hovering over a blueprint book. Guess I'll have to avoid that until this is patched. The train/pollution bugfixes are pretty important.

I have the same problem hover over my blueprints to look for a blueprint and crashed.

I put my error log down below.

Edit: you can make a blueprint and use it from your inventory but if you open the blueprint menu and hover on a blueprint book it crash

Same, just mousing over blueprint book causing crash at any location. (quickbar, inventory, blueprint menu)

I get the same behavior. It seems to happen when showing the tooltip, since if you have tooltip delay, you can briefly mouse over the blueprint without it crashing. This also happens when a library blueprint is in the hotbar.

so that's gonna be in the scale of a few hours rather than days (if we are lucky maybe it has dropped already by the time you read this)

Okay thx for the response, i think i will play a bit factorio anyway my blueprints are already outdated so they arent that usefull xD

How do you turn of tooltips? Is it a console command?

Mine crashed when I passed my mouse over a blueprint book that was linked in my taskbar.
Just a mouseover was enough to do it. Didn't even click on it or anything.
