I just encountered this bug as well. https://ibb.co/ZBcJt7z

On 100% and 125% UI scale you can sort of see the play button but 150%+ and is seems the biters have eaten the play button as its nowhere to be found :D

Running Windows 10 on a 4k monitor if that helps.

Ive got it too. [0.17.18] no back, reseed, map options or play button. only way out is the esc key to get you back to the main menu and restart

"new game" list of resources make window too long, and buttons invisible. Not possible to start new game at all.

Large player inventory displays as four rows with scrollbar, seems to affect resizeable elements in general.

confirmed, ui scaled very badly, cannot return in other way than escape key.

Same, and it's even worse - the map settings is like 10px wide, both with 100% and 75% gui scale

It also absolutely destroys your character inventory if you have a mod that loads lots of items, like a whole slew of Py or Angel fluids. https://imgur.com/a/FuuRhpX

Thanks for the reports, I'v made some non-trivial internal refactoring to merge the squashing logic distribution and other things related to layouting between vertical flow/horizontal flow/table/flow. I kind of overestimated the gui tests we have, which are actually not covering as much as I hoped for.

The good news is, that these kind of problems are now results of very simple mistakes easy to fix instead of tricky logic all around the place, so it is fixed for 0.17.18
