The title says most, for me on linux i see memory garbage when the map preview is generated.
Specs:
CPU: Ryzen 2400G
RAM: 32GB (4GB dedicated for video memory)
Distro: LinuxMint 19.1 xfce edition
I hope i can provide screenshots when i'm back home.
So not really a bug, just visual ugliness. Could also be a driver issue too, so don't worry too much about it.

I didn't encounter this bug, pre-render preview background was matching grey

Probably only AMD APU's. Seeing this on 2200G with 3G of VRAM, Debian testing.
