[0.17.0] Linux high CPU usage for both Factorio and Steam

Hello.

We've just upgraded to version 0.17.0 with my friend, and we play Factorio together over WAN.

We utilize direct IP connect, yet for some reason the game appears to be lagging - 0.16.51 did not have that issue for both of us. Perhaps the game tries to utilize steam networking?

I also see high CPU usage during network connection (in attachment).

Please investigate this and let me know if I can be of any more help. Thanks!
