[0.16.8] Requester chest do not request stuff ...

I noticed the same, but it looks random, for example the requester chests for my labs refuse to request High Tech Science Packs, but all other packs are requested fine..

Bots would not unload for red, purple nor yellow chests. It seems to be more a problem of the blue chest, I could even copy settings from one (non-functional) blue chest to another non-functional one to get it to work (request the items) so I could just copy the settings to all blue chests there and get it all working again...

I came across the same issue today, after updating to 16.8
Saw all my bot based iron smelting crash down. Soon discovered none of the requesters were receiving deliveries, although plenty of content in the passive providers and logistics bots to carry these. The save attached should demonstrate the behaviour. On the player's right, is the "fixed" situation: checked 'request from buffer chest' on all requesters. On the left (copper) the change didn't happen. So most likely these will run out soon as well.
Could there be an issue with interpreting this setting on requesters built during earlier versions?

That workaround doesn't work for me, I don't get any requester chest getting items from buffer chests.
Even newly build buffer + requester doesn't work.

You can see it in the chest over by the large uranium to the right of the bus that asks for acid. Even tried it with removing the mods and same problem.

I've uploaded my save of 16.7 earlier today here. It concerns the smelting areas marked on the map as "Iron Smelting" and "Copper Smelting".

My buffer chests are just acting like storage chests, not taking from passive provider only active and taking everything, even if it isn't requesting it.

After replacing the passive provider (placed before the upgrade) it started working, though the buffer is still acting like a storage chest in terms of taking things from active providers when not requesting them.

Im not sure whats causing it. in my factory, only my artillery shell requester chests werent working (at least theyre the only ones i can find that arent fulfilling requests)

It seems that just putting some stuff in the requester chest manually also fixes the problem.

In attachment a save from 0.16.7 and then in 0.16.9, both exhibit the problem.
In original save, follow the concrete path due left until the end, 2nd train will bring copper shortly
