No icons and weird graphical issues.

I booted up factorio and found there is a 0.10.12 update so I updated and got some graphical errors and no icons.
I do play with mods but I took them out to make sure it was not apart of the problem and it still happens.
Here are my findings with and without mods installed.

With no mods installed

I assume you have AMD graphics card and Windows 10, is that right? Post factorio-current.log, please.

What was your previous version - 0.12.11? (I assume 0.10.12 is a typo and you mean 0.12.12)
Did you update any drivers since it worked last time?

I do have AMD Graphics Card and Windows 10.
I did meant to put 0.12.12 sorry and my previous version was 0.12.11 as I keep up to date with the game with all current versions/weekly friday posts.

Unsure but everything was perfectly working fine on 0.12.11 but soon as I updated it all changed so I am persuming my drivers are up to date as I only installed an update about a month ago.

where do I find factorio-current.log?

you can find the log file in the game's root directory. EG, the Factorio 0.12.12 folder of whatever you installed the game to.

Strange, I don't have that file in the root folder of the game being installed?

I followed the solutions and one of them did work so thanks anyway for helping

Thank you for the additional information. This issue seems to happen to lot of people with AMD GPU and Windows 10, but we were not able to reproduce it on our AMD computer yet Also information you gave us made it even bigger mistery, because there were minimal changes (and certainly no graphics related changed) in 0.12.12, so we have no clue how come 0.12.11 worked for you but 0.12.12 doesn't.

Btw. if you have installed Factorio (as opposed to playing it from ZIP package), logs are in AppData ... basically in parent folder of mods and saves folders.
