Just reporting that this still works in 0.11.8 without issue.

Re: Friday Facts #66 - Merry christmas

Please don't spend too much time trying to make the save files smaller because the difference between 60 or 120MB makes little difference to players. I wouldn't even care if it was 2GB: HDD space is cheap. Also, I love the game and you are awesome! It has less to do with space and more to do with t...

Re: Version 0.11.8

Amazing! That screenshot gives us in the IRC channel a LOT of hope to have a nice 3+ player game. Thank you all, as always! The car can now accepts fuel and ammo into the trunk by inserter or shift/control click even when the burner/ammo slots are already full, so it goes to the trunk. Does this mea...

Re: Version 0.11.5

*snip* about 11 days, 21 hours, 42 minutes, and 51.4seconds (#2). Granted this does not take into account any time to refuel/service the locomotive though in factorio you could probably get a small mod that would take the fuel out of a trailing cargo wagon and kept the train going at full speed. *s...

Re: Version 0.11.5

So as the 0.11.4 had some very serious game breaking bugs, I we released smaller patch batch today. Added sanity check for the coordinates of chunk creation, chunks are limited to position of 1000000. Does this mean the inifnite maps are no longer infinite? Or does it mean they are still "infi...

Is this resolved? Does it now work for you? If not, please also paste any console output.

Re: Friday Facts #59 - The new office

Wube Software zomg you have a name! By far the best part about this is seeing a small, humble Indiegogo campaign that I backed turn in to a real company, with real employees, and with real fans that love your product. The offices look fantastic! Thank you all so much for your incredible game and ha...

My saves folder is a symlink to my owncloud shared folder, and I have no problems such as this.

Re: [0.11.1] Savegame causes desync

I have the exact same problem. Here's our map. I'm unable to test on a LAN at the moment, but if the team would like me to, I can make it happen. It's too big to post to the forum so here it is on my owncloud (safe to ignore the ssl warning, it's legit just not for that subdomain) https://owncloud.l...

Re: Map generation resources

Don't feel bad about bashing the "restart game" button until you get something that suits your fancy. This isn't Minecraft where practically any seed is a good seed to start on. A bad seed in Factorio means you're in for a very long and boring early game of running between resource deposit...

Re: Friday Facts #50 Growing secretly

Factorio was inspired by Buildcraft Hah I knew it! It's about time ya'll admitted to it! Usually when I describe it as "2D Buildcraft" people are instantly interested. Once again, you're doing amazing work. Thank you for such a fun game! Also, BC might be drawing a bit of inspiration from...

Nope. As suggested you can try the Free drivers, that would probably fix it.

I'd really like to know what library Factorio uses to render the fonts.

Re: [0.8.6] Linux doesn't show text

timorl, that's a good idea with graphics drivers. So, Valkor, MF-, what graphics drivers do you have? fglrx 13.12 As for trying the Free drivers, no thanks. Absolutely every single game and application is working perfectly and with acceptable framerates using the official non-free drivers, I'm not ...
