Re: Friday Facts #367 - Expansion news

The year is 2038, the world is in chaos because of the Y2K38 bug being worse than we ever expected. Inflation has peaked at 45,000% and the Wube DLC is finally released for the low price of $5,000.

Re: Mod Portal Spam - Button to Report Mods

there have been and still are mods out there that are violating the license terms of the mods they are based on/ripped from. A readily available built-in report feature is so much easier just wanted to point out that only the author of that mod is allowed to submit those reports. adding a button is...

Re: Mod Portal Spam - Button to Report Mods

it's nitpicking to question the request to have a report function because one has never seen a mod that is inappropriate & offensive and/or spam. Putting aside the idea of "just because it hasn't happened doesn't mean it can't" didn't say it couldn't. didn't say it wouldn't because i ...

Edit Train Schedules via PHP

What is it I have grown weary of manually updating complicated train schedules because we can't merely point a conditional to a new station name. Who wants to have to delete all the entries to recreate the whole schedule? Not I. Blueprint strings are just base64-encoded zlib-compressed JSON strings...

I probably should have added the word 'spam' as well
i've never seen spam on the mod portal. if i re-read your initial post now it looks like you view "personal use only" mods as spam?

Re: Mod Portal Spam - Button to Report Mods

I think people who place stuff with a comment such as "For personal use only" should have their mods deleted. There are other mods that are just inappropriate and offensive. i know Cyclomactic would agree with you about the former, but "inappropriate" and "offensive"? ...

Wildfire Season - Keep the factory warm!

It's finally ready! The long-awaited update for Wildfire Season - you know, the one that makes it actually start fires - is released! As of version 19.1.2, you can expect a fire to start in a random tree, every 30 minutes. The fires can be devastating! They are tuned to cause maximal forest damage....

Re: We support Ukraine

That's funny, imagine the leader of Russia supporting the Russian people and trying not to launch a bloody invasion attempt that end up ruining its econmy, costing them their flag ship in the black sea, a piece of the Kerch bridge and more imprtantly 80 000 casualties while ridiculing its army and ...

Re: We support Ukraine

There are many ways to save the lives of civilians by ending this war now. But the war continues, which means that for the politicians of Ukraine and Russia, the lives of civilians are not so important. you mean if they cared for the people of Ukraine, they would just bend over and become part of R...

I tested with Gnome on Wayland, and it's not really better there. Not sure, whats the problem, but it might be that, NVidia is not very well supported for Wayland. I guess, I just wait...I'm ok, how it works on Xorg currently Gnome is trash for performance, Ever since they moved to gnome-shell like...

But seriously, I don't get your point. This is how voting is going to work. don't expect a Russian bot to understand how voting works. they don't have that there. don't expect a Russian bot to have any point at all. their primary objective is to throw whatever sort of wrench into the works, whereve...

I cannot endorse Wube any longer and regret the massive support thread on Steam I created when Wube was under attack by that 'cancel mob'.
that's funny. so you're again being swayed by public opinion? do you have any values of your own?
