The easiest way to do this would be to generate the map, and if the starting location is not in the specified biome, re-generate the map.

The game really needs more research to change the player'a interaction with the game. Larger inventory, better mini map, more gun slots(you would start with 1), etc.

I would recommend a cursor like what is in KSP, a simple triangle with a notch at the rear end, perhaps a dark grey color.

In my single player world, when I am placing underground pipes, especially near my reach/building range, it gets turned 180 from the direction that I had placed it. You can probably imaging how annoying this is.

Yes, this needs to be added. I always create a custom scenario in multiplayer to add in one of the resources that always isn't there. I then open it is a single player world, save it as a save, and then open the save as a MP world.

Simply put, hiving a few mid-late game research nodes that increase the crafting speed when crafting in your pocket.

Very simply, if you run then while running hold space, then stop running, your character will "slide"along with no animation. This is only client-side though, the other players you are playing with cannot see the error. Tested on windows 32 bit 0.12.6 with two players, both had nothing in ...
