I get that the current demo\tutorial may not align with the game vision, but why would you remove this content if many players see the value in it?

Please explain where is the harm in keeping the new NPE as one of the scenarios in the full game.

Sorry, in clearer terms: is it the one of 0.17 or 0.16?
I haven't played it enough to be able to tell, but it appears to be the one from 0.16 with some elements of 0.17 (e.g. compilatron).

I've just updated my 0.17.79 to 0.18, went into the introduction campaign, and as it started I immediately got this:

Would you please try doing a clean install of the game and see if this still happens? I think this has something to do with either a broken update or manual tweaking of the game files.
