Koub more trains aren't an answer to everything. Every Railsystem has its limits, and somtimes is a complete overhaul for more capacity is just not possible. Ssilk, that was a bit off a slap in the face, thinking of the last thread in that direction. Clearly i could easily bring my plane down to 50 seconds, nobody said it has to be a conventional starter, could also be a Vertical Starter, much quicker in the air. But that wasn't the point to beginn with....

Shift click works only if the entitys are the same, means from chest to hest or chem plant to chemplant, this works from assembler to requester chest and alike.

Liquid fuels aren't supported yet. As it stands now it would be Solid Fuel all the way. Everything else where "fakefuel" like 20 lightoil per operation in a recipe... Well not really a fan of that, it would somewhat distort the current Fueling System. and in the end wouldn't make that much...

True a flyover drop would be faster if you take the time from starting to the drop. Would beat every landing. But if you take the time until the goods arrive ground i'm not that sure. Which gaves away the mentioned speed advantage. How do i put it, landing per parachute is far slower then landing by plane. Well if the patch is in the size of an pingpong ball all the richness is for naught, not enough space for miners >< I had patches with over 200K but barly space for 3 miners, thats just mocking RNG. And the number of miners is importend if you try to get 2.2K Iron per minute through your factory ^^....

Well i usually don't overcare to much, my repairpack assembler has a passiv provider and is centert, by rule of thumbe estimate ;) enough packs in the chest the rest relativates anyways after a short while. I think the best bet is to have a good Logisystem and a port near the spots of heavier attacks.

Yeah but you'll end up with one itemtype per storage chest as long as free storage chests available. The bots only put different items together if the find no free storage chest.

Item gets transferd bot comes packs it back in the requester, item gets transfered, and so on and so forth. Afaik items in a smart chest aren'T available for bots either.
