Re: Is molybdenium supposed to be that expensive?
I mean, the first recipe to get molybdenium uses 30 ore to produce only 1 molybdenium plates, and molybdenium is used by a lot of stuff before reaching red circuits. You say "first" when there are only two, and the other one is the particle accelerator path (and it takes boron and chromiu...

Re: Stop timeout seems broken?
Update to LTN 1.10.11. It fixed a bug with stop timeouts not being applied during runtime. I see the issue now, I had 1.10.10 and 1.10.11 both installed for some reason and I didn't switch over to 1.10.11 in the "active version" box (which I guess is a new part of the core game?) Anyway, ...

Re: Encoded Network ID, how does it work?
I don't have much experience with LTN networks, but this is what I've gathered: I believe the design purpose is to use networks to tell LTN which stations are connected. If trains from Depot 1 might attempt to deliver cargo from Provider 2 to Requester 3, and you want to prevent this (either to red...

Re: Overfilled LTN receiver behaves as provider?
Another way you can fix it is to filter what you send to the stop: at a pure provider, send just the inventory using "each > 0 output each" (usually not a problem, but an error in wiring something nearby could cause a provider to turn into a requester). At a pure requester, send just the r...

Stop timeout seems broken?
I tried using the Stop timeout (ticks) mod option to force my trains to leave after a while if they get stuck in an invalid state (for example due to stack splitting in a full delivery). I set it to 18000 ticks. The actual schedules on trains got edited to have "OR 0s passed", which is obv...

Re: pY Petroleum Handling
Yeah, and the chests aren't, so they're useless. I still have no clue why Py unlocks bots with Engine. you guys really should update your mods before complain here. Chests are unlocked with bots for a while I've been updating, but didn't think that would change and have had logistic chests already ...

Re: pY Petroleum Handling
Making a small amount of rubber to get your science online is easy. Rushing pynobots, of either type, not so much. The problem is that i want to play 6x research difficult and with half resource on strating area, then do research until rubber is very hard in term of collecting resources ( at first ...

Re: pY Petroleum Handling
Py just rebalanced most of this. Is anything actually unbalanced besides nexelit or is that the only one? IMO sp2 tier glass still needs another look, but it's not objectively imbalanced: the crushed quartz and powdered quartz recipes do yield more glass per unit quartz ore than the quartz ore + ho...

Re: pY Petroleum Handling
thats exactly what i said. based on what was presented. i took it to mean that something was not working. clearly that wasnt the intent and i misunderstood what he was getting at. other than just removing hot-air from t1 as is a obvious solution if you've got suggestions to fix the issue feel free ...

Hot Air doesn't interact correctly with Nexelit. yield: 0.2 - 5 raw nex -> 1 nex plate yield: 0.33 - 18 raw nex -> 6 clean nex -> 6 nex plate yield: 0.6 - 5 raw nex + hot air -> 3 nex plate yield: 0.44 - 18 raw nex -> 6 clean nex + hot air -> 8 nex plate everything looks fine to me. anything with h...

Re: pY Fusion Energy - Discussion
I don't think that "tiny base that still churns out huge SPM" is a phrase that applies to pyanodon mods regardless of the number of prod modules used, at least not with PyHT active :D If prod is enabled all over the place and some stronger prod modules than the vanilla ones were available...

Re: pY Fusion Energy - Discussion
The definition of productivity modules is creating materials from thin air Not really, unless you can use a cycle that is negative without prod and positive with prod. Otherwise, the prod bar only goes up while the regular bar is running, so you're still consuming input, just getting more out of it...

Re: Question about fluid energy values.
Pretty sure the base temperature is 15C. That is definitely how steam works and I don't think Lua can even target that part of the calculation if the modder wanted to. When I've checked in-game the numbers have been consistent with that formula to within 100 kW. Also tholin based combustion mixture...

Re: Question about fluid energy values.
combustun mixture is used in the turbines to make power. there is a mk1-mk3 and each one takes a maxium of 1000 degree fluid to give max power. if you use one of the recipes with with lower temp you will get less power. the mk1 turbine gives about 24mw at 1000 degrees. mk2 is 56 i think and mk3 is ...

Re: pY Coal Processing - Discussion
I might be using a different set or version of mods but my niobium production doesn't use any sulfur. You're right, actually. You do need sulfur for cladding when you go to make optical fiber, but just the plate only needs the ore, some processing that doesn't need ingredients, organic solvent, hyd...

Re: pY Coal Processing - Discussion
1. There are workarounds for sulfur. Easiest one is to include PH and use a sulfur mine. Without PH, you can still make sulfuric acid by evaporating tailings. The only reason I don't do a ton of this is because getting any reasonable amount of throughput out of that recipe would obliterate my power...
