Re: Simple Questions and Short Answers
This solved my problem in factorio but there is still the issue why it registered side wheel buttons as up and down scrolling in the first place. This is something the developers might want to look into. Or not, since its a very specific issue with this specific mouse with this very specific "...

Re: Removing tiles in map editor on .17?
As I mentioned on Reddit, I noticed this the other day and had been meaning to raise a bug report, so I've just done that: bug report . Looks like you can deconstruct everything but tiles for some odd reason. Anyone aware of a way to remove them in the editor? Does holding the tile in your hand, and...

[0.17.54] [Map Editor] A DP in Map Editor cannot remove tiles
Platform tested on: Windows 10 & macOS 10.14.5 Version tested: 0.17.54 A Deconstruction Planner used in Map Editor (mode: "None") will select but not remove any user-placed tiles, eg refined concrete. When using a DP on tiles they will select as expected, as shown in this screenshot: h...

Re: [Rseding91][0.17.52] [Minor] Deconstruction Planner: DP will not remove rails under trains, even when filtered on ra
I... didn't know /editor was a thing :). I have always just used a creative mode map to work on designs when needed. I will give it a shot! It was added in 0.17. Or rather, the Console command /editor was added in 0.17 as an in-game version of the Map/Scenario Editor, that you previously could only...

Re: [Rseding91][0.17.52] [Minor] Deconstruction Planner: DP will not remove rails under trains, even when filtered on ra
Not sure if this will get seen here, but here goes anyway. Playing in creative mode with no bots, this is still a bit wonky. Before this fix, it took two sweeps with a deconstruction planner. One to clear the trains, and a second to clear the rails left over. Now, the first sweep marks the rails fo...

Re: [0.17.52] [Minor] Deconstruction Planner: in Editor mode, using DP on trains on rails will leave behind curved rails
He answered it when I filed the same bug a while ago: https://forums.factorio.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=70100 The editor apparently behaves that way due to how it iterates over entities to be removed (basically curved rails are checked before trains are removed so they stay, straight rails are c...

Re: [0.17.54] FPS now going >60 at game.speed>1 ?
That's how it is expected to work. I was not aware it didn't work that way on macOS. The change was - I reverted workaround SDL had for broken v-sync in macOS 10.14.3, because it's fixed on macOS 10.14.4 and therefore the workaround was present only in developer versions of SDL anyway. I didn't kno...

[0.17.54] FPS now going >60 at game.speed>1 ?
Platform tested on: macOS 10.14.5 Version tested: 0.17.54 standalone This screenshot pretty much says it all.. https://i.imgur.com/DiVL9uV.png Having seen nothing in the changelog that suggests FPS should be unlocked from 60, I thought I should report this as a bug until informed otherwise. I am run...

Re: [0.17.51] Entity tooltip appears when entity is still in hand
If an option is just so terrible that no one should use it then why is it even an option? Because some people think it's great. I'm not one of them. I've found that sometimes it's great and often it's terrible. I'd really love if at some point we could have a keyboard shortcut to swap between the t...

Re: [0.17.52] [Minor] Deconstruction Planner: in Editor mode, using DP on trains on rails will leave behind curved rails
OK thanks for the details. But I was wondering why the different behaviour for curved rails versus straight? It does work as I expected for straight rails - they are removed at the same time as the train in Editor mode - just not for curved ones?
Are they handled differently internally?

Re: [0.17.24] Mac Factorio fullscreen-state inconsistent after clicking notification from other fullscreen-capable app
Actually I just checked and there should be an even easier workaround for this - just stop Mail opening in split-screen :) You probably already did that, but I'll post this in case anyone else has the issue before/if the devs can resolve it. Open Preferences in Mail, and untick "Prefer opening ...

[0.17.52] [Minor] Deconstruction Planner: in Editor mode, using DP on trains on rails will leave behind curved rails

Re: [0.17.24] Mac Factorio fullscreen-state inconsistent after clicking notification from other fullscreen-capable app
FYI another workaround for this - other than toggling Full Screen off and then on again in Settings - is to: Open Mission Control (default is three-finger swipe-up on the trackpad) Drag the Factorio window up to the Desktop bar at the top, and hold it there for a second until you see it become its o...

Re: Simple Questions and Short Answers
Question; How can I find out how many robots are waiting for recharge? I would like to be able to check on this to determine if I need to place more robotports, but I cannot find a way to do it without coming across a robotport with a circle of robots. Many thanks in anticipation. As others have sa...

Hey, love your mods! One question tho, if I get picker extended, do i need the other ones as well or are all of them included in picker extended? Last I played factorio they were all in Picker extended if i recall correctly Thanks For version 0.16, the current stable release, there is a single mod:...

Re: [0.17.47] On Mac - graphics - icons missing
I can't find a factorio folder in (MacHD) /Library/Application Support/ so can't provide a log :( It'll be under your own home folder, eg /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/factorio. I thought I'd add a quick negative report: I am running macOS 10.14.5 and I do not have the problem. But ...

Re: Allow right-clicking on Upgrade/Deconstruction Planner for instant customization
Yes this would be a very nice usability improvement. Especially having it accessible to modders, as Iron says. I can see a lot of mods adding right-click on their icon as a quick way to open an in-game settings window, for example. And in vanilla it'd make immediate sense at least for the Deconstruc...
