For some reason it now uses the appdata factorio directory when locating mods. Im not entirely sure how the manager functions but despite launching different versions, it simply only ever looks in the root factorio folder for mod files. Construction robots must be earlier, but logistic robots must be later for balance. Using without roboports, just equipment roboport for first power armor. Your starting ore patches are not infinite, and biters won't stand around while you are looking at research !
I would *always* pause the game when looking at research.
I'm even using a modified Vlad's Auto Time to set the game speed to 10% when not doing anything...

Well, mp3's are a bonus, but not as necessary as a "paste and forget" system: there are a lot of programs to convert between the various audio formats... I think even Windows Media Player can do that out of the box? I actually had older games music in mind, which is generally in .wav forma...
