9 sand extractors with iron STICK made in assembler3 with asmuch productivity as you can Actually, true. Pyanodon just move PYRO excavation into tier 2 science, so maybe I can have enough sand now. Assembler 3 and productivity modules, now I don't know what you're talking about lol. I'm a simple fa...

Re: Approach with pure PyMods?
I'm in the middle of building a pure PyMods train base. I got as far as circuit1 with just belts and gave up after planning circuit2. I'm using LTN and a train grid design. I'm only now re-automating circuit1 after 90 hrs, because I've spent so much time on the base infrastructure and had to re-org...

Re: Approach with pure PyMods?
and I don't like wasting, burning, venting stuff except as a stopgap. Agreed! I have to admit to having lots going out a vent or sinkhole at the moment, with the plan to come back and balance things more as I progress. Its quite hard at the start though, so yeh, stopgap :) 1. If using LTN, you shou...

Re: pY Coal Processing - Discussion
Hey there, quick question: the oleochemichals to methanol process uses 100 units of oleo (and chrome) to craft 250 units of methanol and 150 units of water. Should the water be on the input side as most recipes conserve fluid units mostly? no many recipes have non conservtive amounts like oil crack...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
to be honest i dont have problems with salt whatsoever... the only nitpick i have is that the mines themselves are pretty slow, but if you have 5-6 salt mine stations in an LTN network you can pretty much forget about salt problems What i can say i'll set options in RSO to more higher quantity and ...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
What keeps you from mining salt? Salt is everywhere and it's easy to mine compared to almost every other resource in this mod. I can't say i can find many salt rocks - and my niobium plates productins consumes tons of salt - i used 2 salt rocks and even with it i'm not reached for hi-tech science p...

Here's another thing with redhot coke, the very first step. The pyChart of this says that coal -> redhot-coke requires vacuum, the .lua file for redhot coke says " {type = "fluid", name = "steam", amount = 200} --pyfe vaccumm" like it's meant to be switched by the FE m...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
Since ammo now requires lead, and mining lead requires acetylene, there is quite a long chain of products to get going before you can make any ammo at all. The time spent, and more importantly, the pollution generated to get any new ammo basically guarantees that I have already fended off enough bi...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
Just started trying out Full Py and I'm getting some weird CPU usage spikes. Removing other mods leads me to believe it's one of Pyanodon's mods, probably Raw Ores, maybe HighTech. When loading factorio, the status bar gets stuck for about 5-10min at 40%-60% and Loading Sprites. This also slows my ...

new release is out!!!! Yeah new changes is good but may be this recipe for getting salt from common water will be useful - PY_500_water_for_1_salt.png - i think here's the most fair variant :) Pyanodon pls add it - if we can get salt from common water in Bob's mods why we can't do it in py mods? ;)...

Re: pY Industry - Discussion
Is the research required for logistic warehouses little crazy, considering you reduced the research requirements for logistic chests? It takes a megabase to get to production science, I can't imagine going back in afterwards and improving things with logistic warehouses at that point. well i see lo...
