Re: Simple Questions and Short Answers
I've seen a lot of circuitry wizardry around. Unfortunately I don't know how it works. I understand how to use all the components but not how to put them together. Any suggestions to learn how to use them? Should I just set up in a large clear area with lots of each components and play with them or ...

Re: Don't Mine Bots When Mining Buildings
The option to turn off logistic bots would be nice. It would be weird if you couldn't see construction bots as stuff would appear and vanish. The FPS/UPS gain wouldn't hurt anything (that is if any is gained)

Re: Better atomic bombs
Currently, nukes have kill radius just barely exceeding firing range, so it's easy to kill Yourself. Also, it's possible to use it accidentally inside Your base (i did it once, wrong mouse button pressed while shooting to chests. Chests were destroyed at least...). It definitely should not be a &qu...

Re: [0.16.22] trees decay only on a chunk by chunk basis
I believe (and I could be wrong) that pollution is constant throughout a chunk. My guess is that the trees in the decayed chunk slowed the pollution down from reaching a level that would cause the healthy chunk to decay. Also, the healthy chunk has many more trees which could absorb more pollution m...

Don't Mine Bots When Mining Buildings
Have you ever noticed when you finish mining a building on an ore patch, you don't start to mine the ore beneath it? Even if you move your cursor around, you won't start to mine the ore until you let go of right click and press it again. And it's a really nice feature since automatically switching t...

Re: Better atomic bombs
It sounds like a neat concept, but I thin nukes are good the way they are. Since you didn't say, I'm assuming that the new nukes would be 2-5x the radius of the current ones. 1) They fit naturally into the slot after explosive rockets. Explosive rockets are good, but for larger nests, nukes are the ...

Re: Friday Facts #228 - High resolution turrets
Actually very decent, when I looked at factorio, I did is looked at the laser turrets, "WHY IS THERE NO LASER BEAMS!?!?!??!, THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE RELIASTIC!?!?!?" well this is such a coincidence ;p You do realize that laser beams have nothing realistic about them at all? ;) They do look...

Re: Glitch through small objects
Thanks for the report however we have no intention of changing how this works because it would have an added performance hit when not needed in the vast majority of the game. If you turn the numbers up to crazy then you can deal with the crazy results :) Would that affect performance in a noticeabl...

Glitch through small objects
I noticed that the player is able to run through normally impassible objects such as assemblers and over small rivers with a VERY high speed bonus. I had to use mods to get such a high speed (+1000) so it can't happen in a normal game. I assume this is because the game checks a certain distance in f...

Re: Simple Questions and Short Answers
Is there any way to stop a command partway through (ex. /c game.forces.player.chart(game.player.surface, {{x = -10000, y = -10000}, {x = 10000, y = 10000}}) - yeah, I messed up a little.)? Saving and reloading doesn't stop the command. If anyone can reply soon, it would be greatly appreciated, for ...

Re: Bots vs Belt suggestions
Hey! Ive been playing Factorio for a while now but just got around to joining the forum. Here are my thoughts: - let robots crash when they run out of fuel. Crashed robots could either be lost or be recovered by other bots. This makes sense that the robots would do that, however it would need to be ...
