I have been also being have the same issue but when it happens the radar texture disappears and it this also seems to be triggered when my screen saver comes on If you have low VRAM usage on try turning that off and that should help Older bug report - https://forums.factorio.com/viewtopic.php?f=29&a...

[16.0] Radar texture disapears on specific zoom with low ram setting
On 0.16 on windows operating system the radar texture is messed up. It disappeares and reappeares constantly but you can still hover your mouse pointer over it to pick it put and stuff like that.

I agree on this because there the only way green water can be found or used is in the map editor and even then it has the same properties as normal water. And also how would the water get polluted... maybe if a oil tank or pump could be destroyed and it leaks into the water or something including cr...

I made a city map in the map editor and clearing out all the trees was a pain and it would just seem right if there was a tree and rock setting.

Why is the gear in the logo rusted? It looks good rusted but what does it actually mean. Maybe a setting or something like that for some disasters to happen I think it would be make the game have more of a dramatic gameplay because the only bad thing that happens is an alien attack, running out of ore and getting hit by a train. I think it “may” make cars easier to drive because at the moment you can easily fly around corners and when it does that it seems to be a bit unexpected and fast (that car must have a extremely good spoiler due to it not rolling over) while if the car does a epic slide it would seem more predictable...

Wouldn't the chance of one happening always be 1/1,000,000 like IRL the major nuclear disasters didn't have warnings. Also why? I mean who would benefit from their power exploding, it'd be a pain to fix, you'd power down the factory preventing fixes and disabling defences and to most be considered ...
