I reran the dave's benchmarks and the variance was eliminated. I think it was some windows background process that hurt that one run in particular. I took both of the top contenders maps and resaved them in 0.16.18, completely vanilla, and replaced daves unloader station with infinity chests. I've also switched to RSO but with custom settings that bring the ore freq/size in line with my .15 settings. The .16 update seems to bring the ore gen to be wayyy more scarce, so much so that it breaks my evil plan. The size of water seems to be a bit bigger as well.

Repro:
Go to options>other
Hover over Delete Achievement so tooltip appears
press esc.
Works on main menu and ingame, tested a few other (but not all) tooltips but those killed themselves correctly.

It looks like I was wrong about productivity modules. They are basically tied with speed modules when you have 7+ beacons. They become increasingly more effective with the number of both speed beacons and module slots. So on a miner with 3 modules they are definitely more effective than speed beaco...

All but #1 will lose some beacon range on the miners when the design is actually expanded to work with trains (as they can't fit a 2 block gap that is misaligned to the rail 2x2 grid). Unfortunately output redirection seems broken on Windows at the moment.
Example:
No output is redirected to testfile.txt
As a note this does work on Linux
