Re: Friday Facts #362 - Menu simulation, Spidertron, Ghost building, Confirm button
Not a fan of the new menu background. I've always wanted a new menu background, but not like this. Maybe it looks better animated instead of as still. I've liked the Wube logo ever since I've seen it, but the letters are so close together it's hard to read it as Wube and not... WWbe or something. Th...

Re: Friday Facts #361 - Train stop limit, Tips and tricks
But the graph shows a rolling average and not "precise numbers" in the first place. The game doesn't measure how long it takes to produce an item. If you produce one item then there's a 1-tick spike of producing 1 item in a 5 second interval. So the average of that is gonna be weird. &quo...

Re: Friday Facts #361 - Train stop limit, Tips and tricks
Either you're looking at the wrong screen or you're misinterpreting or you've found an actual bug. It certainly shows "1" just fine for me. Factorio is one of the few games where i feel comfortable assuming the data is always 100% accurate. I was looking at and describing the graph, not t...

Re: Friday Facts #361 - Train stop limit, Tips and tricks
What you're seeing is a GIF (technically an .mp4) on a webpage, but we are not putting GIFs in the game. What the GIF shows, is the Tips and Tricks GUI live rendering a real simulation of the entities inside the GUI. This marvel of technology is a divine gift from the very top (kovarex). This is no...

Oh my god, I didn't expect Spidertron to make it.
That aside - thank you for this beautiful game.

Very good indeed. When I played mp with my friends we joked about wanting to see the water become polluted but alas it was impossible.

I'm glad you took the high road and chose to keep the company and to maintain your values. It's heartwarming. The whole introduction section was.
The feature I'm most excited about is the map item-placing. I've been previously frustrated not being able to do that.

I also found the arcing inside weird. Especially cuz it's also a solid blue. Idk, the original looks better in that regard.
Looks cool though. I don't mind it wasn't redesigned, I never use it anyway. I'm more worried about the drill.

Re: Friday Facts #353 - Trailer update
I am not a fan of the bright white text on the grey background. The grey font was more readable. It also seems that the line spacing is smaller and that the font changed. That probably contributes to it. Another change that would improve it is making the text less wide so your eyes have to travel le...

Re: Friday Facts #352 - New website
avoiding the use of bloated JavaScript frameworks helps keep everything load and render quickly, and of course the website can be browsed without JavaScript as well. I am a huge fan of that decision. There is a lot of bloat in the web today. I really like the artwork page. More games should have so...

The beacon redesign and the simplicity of the fluid mixing fix please my World.
The thing I like the most about the beacon redesign is that it's low contrast.

Re: Friday Facts #350 - Electric mining drill redesign
I'm not a fan of the redesign. I liked how low the original was, I liked the drill bit, I liked the continuous animation which required no glowy bit to tell you whether it was working or not. I liked that it was a simpler design, too. Speaking of continuous animation, it was not mentioned in the pos...

Not a fan of the engine unit icon. It looks nothing like an engine.
The electric engine looks more like an engine, and the previous engine icon looked more like an engine.

It would be great to have diagonal walls, gates and belts. I don't even need to take items off the belts when they're diagonal.
I just want to get rid of that disgusting staircase shape, for walls And gates!
