in a funny way, when i did the quiz, i ended up with 20.625 iron per second lol
but that was because i divided the mining power, by mining hardness,
and then after halfing, i multipled it by 25 (taking 5x5 to be 25) lol :D but hey :D

it looks like it shows how much stuff is being consumed over the course of the game, (start, mid, late game) and could be useful when shown as a percentage)

Puffer eggs are found in puffer nests, which show up as green squares in the map. You then hatch them for puffers and breed and puff those. Fish are mined from the water, same as vanilla fish. They supposedly should show up in new chunks if the mod has been enabled on an existing save, but starting...

The crash is caused by mod settings. Extracting a mods settings is not trivial, and I have found some mods format their files very differently than most mods do, which is what is probably causing this issue as well. btw is this something about the settings file changing from text/json to non-readab...

for pymods, it should be ok, i used it to get a pymod robot (via my ealier link i think) and there wasnt any hard block as far as i remember
