Re: Processing uranium before train

This can only be done manually or with a counter circuit. Im use other method. 11 chest and 22 inserters. In first chest inserter put exacly 1 uranium and in the rest of chest every inserter put exacly 4. When 41 uranium is detected one goes somewhere and rest go back to processing. Something simil...

Re: Nuclear disasters

Solar is op not nuclear. Build big factory without mods. First thing you see it that you need prod modules in everything or you cant build enough outposts in time. Then you see base gets big and its nice thing to get speed modules in beacon because robots work medicore in big factory. Suddenty 4 rea...

Re: Biter - Gameplay Update?

Well cool ideas are already in games where killing monster is arena is main theme. Few examples. Big spider after killed "spawn" few smaller spiders and when small spider get killed spawn even more smaller spiders etc. To kill them use poison because all "spawns" will be poisoned...

Flame turret bonus damage

Yo. How does flame turret damage from oil type calculate with research. B its base damage and 110% its damage multipler from light oil. R its research % damage bonus. A) 110%B*R B) B+(R+10%) Lets assume base damage its 90 and research bonus its +70% So: A) 90*1.7*1.1=168.3 B) 90*(1.7+0.1)=162 Im try...

Re: In defence of Megabases and logistics robots.

I think people says robots and nuclear plants are op because they cheat. Im mean I have a lot more than 270 hours mans build few factories and 2 megabases. Then I go to forum to compare to others players creations and all gloried megabases are cheated. Like unlimited resources or console commands fo...

Re: Friday Facts #225 - Bots versus belts (part 2)

Also aside great ideas in this thread i wanna see belt "ghost bulding" like train tracks. Why? Because belts shine in middle distances and this is great feature for train tracks also it will be nice for belts.

Re: Friday Facts #225 - Bots versus belts (part 2)

For me bots, belts and trains are just fine as they are. Now im trying no logistic bot achievements and its pain to produce some items. Its not true for me "more bots - solve everything". I make some very nice vanilla megabase in 0.15 and in every single free space i was placing roboport, ...

Re: Defending your base is just to easy!

@ Zavian Right, but normally the users should read the whole thread before they post their opinions... I know the first post was a bit different. @ sathill I haven't a special genre. I play the games that i like or could like. The most games that I play, are not on a DRM plattform like Steam, Battl...

Re: Defending your base is just to easy!

Thank you Hannu for your explanations! I hope the people read and understand what u have written. That's the point. I like the challenge and the chance, that i can loose and will loose! Games with a 100% win warranty are boring. The most games, like u said, are games u cant loose (the new ones! the...

Re: Defending your base is just to easy!

Ok so basicly you wanna better/harder fight with monsters, but don't wanna use mods, just play vanilla and don't care about achievements? You know most people play vanilla for this very reason (complete steam achievements - without cheesing with easy mods)? Ok its always good idea to make game with ...

Re: Defending your base is just to easy!

Ok, first of all some good users suggest using mods. Its really good suggestion. When you change bitters do you ever think about achievements? Some of them are time limited. And how do you want bitters to get changed? More hp/damage/speed/numbers? And what that gives to us? Instead of one wall layer...

Re: Artillery

Yes laser drain energy and its problem when wave of all bitters around attack. But try for once most OP turrent out there - flame. Even without upgrades it does massive damage and all what you need is crude oil + walls (like 1k of oil of it for entire outpost for long long time). No need for energy,...

Re: Getting past early game in 0.16

I must say 0.16 early game it is hard. Im also quite experienced with hundreds of hours playtime. I know what im doing and still phase between green and blue science its hard. Resources are spread apart, starting resources run low or depleted completely. Thanks to new map generation its hard to land...
