You don't have enough substations in storage so the bots take them from your solar panel field instead. The lack of power causes your laser turrets to shut down. You get eaten by a biter.

Here's my attempt at this. It's 34.3 circuits/second so only about 85% of a belt but it only takes 65% of iron and copper belts as well.

For example, that steam for coal liquification seems weird, just put a boiler next to a line full of coal that's already there and plug in, doesn't seem to add much to the game. Theoretically setting up combined power plant and refinery might be cool, but I'm personally not going to try that before...
