I think the numbers need looking at. If you need 20 hydraulic fluid per second to produce 1 iron ore per second, and 20 hydraulic fluid needs 2 iron ore per second, this is a net loss.

In so much as Factorio tries to be a realistic game more than an abstract/puzzle game, is there any physical basis for limiting how many solar panels can be on a given electrical network? Maybe the real approach you should take is to change how accumulators work, so that THOSE are higher maintenance...

The only games I know of that are similar to Factorio are either idle/incremental games (Factory Idle, Reactor Incremental, Idle Power, etc) or more like puzzle games (Infinifactory, Human Resources, etc) or more like colony builders (ANNO 1404, Hearthlands, Rimworld, etc), and I don't know how simi...

Possibly it could be pushed even lower than 10%. 5%? 2%? 1%?? It would become too easy perhaps to get achievements. I think firstly, achievements should be kept separate between single player and multiplayer, but then it would be nice to find a way to tell who was really involved in the achievement...
