Something like 0.13.12, I believe.

I was almost right. It was 0.13.11; you can find out by trying to replay the save. (If the version under which the save was created, and the current version do not exactly match, Factorio will complain and display the two versions.)

In that case, I believe I am missing something. I'll start the scenario again ... Yes. You need to press E to display your inventory. (It's just the toolbar that is empty.) :-(

After update, "Tight spot" no longer crashes on startup, but "Transport belt madness" STILL starts with an empty inventory.

For some reason, downloading the same version from stable releases - https://www.factorio.com/download/stable - [does work].

Correction: it doesn't work. You can only download the demo version 0.11.8 from the stable releases!

Thinking about it: I have extracted the scenario pack to "c:\Users\Honza\AppData\Roaming\Factorio\mods\". Perhaps the updater was expecting it at "c:\Program Files (x86)\Factorio\data\"?

In 0.11.5 the game no longer crashes, but it still starts with an empty inventory, making the mission unplayable.
