Re: pY HighTech Discussion
I disagree with arbitrary ingredients...all recipes are based on real stuff in SOME level to not destroy the game. Last mod in that suit people complained a lot about the "one ingredient used in only one recipe"-thing, fortunately, when doing my research to make pyHT, lots of them got new...

Re: pY HighTech Discussion
I'm with you on the feedback :) I play the same setup and had the same challenges (I've just finished lvl3 circuits and I am about to start high level science). I've also enjoyed balancing of pyCoal - getting proper levels of coal gas, tar, etc was a fun experience. Some chains are also nice (RE, in...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
Benzene can be used to get cumene or nitrobenzene why you call it useless? Coal dust can be used for slicon geting or can be sorted to carbon or can be used to get coal briquette ;) Well, not completely useless, I agree. nitrobenzene is obviously needed but I've never bothered with cumene as it is ...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion
Yay, more benzene. It currently is the most useless resource and I void all of it. Any plans to make it more useful?
Also, what will coal dust be used for? It currently have a rather limited use ( it can be burnt obviously)

Re: pY HighTech Discussion
Im affraid of complicate things too much. PyHT divide opinions between the users because his extreme complexity. I have plans to add these modified recipes for bateries, belts, engines and such for pyIndustry. There is an example of complexity done perfectly in your mods - refining of industrial di...

What is 'fuel value' of the mixture of different temps? 1 kJ per unit of combustion mixture per degree above 15 degrees (five times more energy dense than vanilla steam which is only 0.2 kJ per unit per degree). Plus the gas turbines have idiosyncratic effectivities: 42%, 95% and 147% for levels 1,...

You probably add power, so it's no perpetuum mobile... Sure, power and fluids are added but I doubt this is the intention Hummmmm...i doubt its perpetuum. I need to check the recipes, but usually we dont do that mistake. :) It definitely work for me  I've removed all Pure Kimberlite Grade-2 fr...

Re: pY Fusion Energy - Discussion
I have built industrial diamond perpetuum mobile it seems. My setup is attached. I love diamond process by the way! there's a limited number of inputs, process is very complex but what I like the most compared to i.e. HT is that the intermediate products are not used elsewhere removing the need to b...

Re: pY Coal Processing - Discussion
Does anybody know how efficient generating energy is through combustion mixture?
I have recently started making coal briquettes and then 1000deg mixture but I can clearly see using the briquette to make mixture means loosing energy.
What is 'fuel value' of the mixture of different temps?

Hi Pyanodon, Did you also fix these two issues? For some reason though centrifugal pan does not have this recipe available. I have looked into the files more carefully and the issue is clear - recipe has 3 fluid inputs but centrifugal pan has only 2 input fluid boxes. After removing water from the r...

Re: pY HighTech Discussion
Indeed FTS opens a lot of options there. There's the recipe you've mentioned but there's also one to produce sulphuric acid from petroleum, and also some more that might be useful. This is getting complex - a task for another day. OK, done this and sulphur production is much better now. I am storin...
