Yeah, that's what I meant. Lookup table, not cache :) Anyway, might be a good optimization to do and a reasonably easy one.

Maybye an option to turn particle effects off? If we're going to go that route there's no end. "It's slow when I do X" well yes because it takes CPU time to do *anything*. Don't do anything and it will be instant. You'll also have no game to play. What I mean is, particles are purely grap...

I've been part of two crashes on Leveller's server. First one was at 3899 (the server crashed, log isn't probably very helpful) and second one at 6117 (my game crashed). Also, the savegame. I have bought Factorio, then five of my friends did that too. One is refusing to saying that he'll surely get addicted too much (he thinks that's too great game to play!). In process of convincing next 3-4 ones.

It does with tank and car, though way more with the car. It does not with trains. I don't have any source on that though.

Yes. I also can recreate the correct blueprint (in fact I already have), but the incorrect one was created by copying physical design without triggering any non-vanilla stuff and it somehow (I cannot reproduce that) glitched. Probably "cannot reproduce" is the correct label.

Walling off is much more effective though you will have to kill biter nests inside of your walled region after. The deal is, while wall length grows linearly, walled off area grows quadratically.
