I had other idea. What if mining drills that mined everything would just become rusty ruins of the miner instead. The player could mine the ruins for some almost useless resources, so he would usually leave those mining sites there, this would play nicely with the game atmosphere. ...piles of rust ...

This used to happen to me a lot too, For me it was more around the usage of the alt, ctrl, and shift keys. I tracked it down to the keyboard connecting over bluetooth. Once I plugged it in, problem went away. From my experience this feels like a bluetooth driver issue on Windows 10. But I couldn't b...

Any math around calculating modules should include beacons as well. I'm fine with any reasonable change to efficiency modules. To me they are what they are and I use them to suit my various situations. I only ever use level 3 modules well into spreading out to feed the main factory. Those that think...

I would rather have this option as, "Alt Mode always on" instead of on by default. This way I can defeat the switch that occurs when I alt-tab out of the game. I sometimes use non-alt mode to see clearer, eg see wire connections or if machines are running etc. Always on would be annyoing....

yes I've noticed this too. I wonder why sounds are heard from the map at all if you're liking it to radar or high-altitude camera sourced information.

A part of me wonders if fixing this would make the game slower.

7. Energy stored in accumulators should decrease ever so slowly (e.g. by a few percent per "day"). I'm not sure how this would be accomplished since accumulators are typically always connected to the sources that would charge them, and as soon as there is no power they start discharging. ...

Obviously it's too late to add any of this now before 1.0. I don't know why that keeps getting brought up. While I enjoy reading the blog and seeing small tweaks and graphical updates to the game, none of it is enough to really pull me back into the game. I've been reading the Friday blog for years...
