It would be nice if you could provide your savegame for developers to test.
Also you might wanna check ingame options to see if your game can use multiple threads. I asume you have multicore CPU, right. Set the number of threads that Factorio can use to the number of cores your CPU have.

Go and download ZIP version instead. That version is saving any savegames in the same folder as Factorio. So it can be used from USB drives, network drives, etc. Some pepole even put it into DropBox folder which automatically synchonizes it between all computers.

So far I have only expirienced slodowns when there are bunch of acumulators in sight and they are iether charging or discharging. If none of them is in sight I don't expirience any slowdowns.

That is on To-Do list but developers didn't stated any timeframe when this would get fixed.
