While you are improving the stats UI, *please* add a very basic QoL feature: Remember/persist last viewed time scale accross close/open stats UI. Opening the stats UI defaults to "5 s", which I honestly believe to be the *least* useful choice. Every single time I open stats, I need to switch again ...

Looking at the logic - the issue is coming from SDL's audio system specifically I found this part:

Oh actually that's only half of what I needed: It still shows the locations other players are looking at (hollow circles) on the map view. So unnessecary and annoying. If not optional, they should at least remove those moving circles from the minimap... ok on remote view. Can't even see that it's a ...

Difference between remote driving in automatic mode and following train on map?

Can someone please explain the difference in functionality between remote driving a train in automatic mode and enabling the following of the the train in remote view withouth remotely driving it? In both modes, I can Ctrl+Click to add temporary stops, so I don't see the point of the former.

When the orange deconstruction progress bar appears while where are chat messages on screen, or while chat log is open, entire chat is lifted upwards during the the time the bar is present. When bar dissappears, chat is lowered downwards again to original position.

Help. this happened to me! Trying to figure out what to do. This is the only place ive found anyone with this issue


If you have a backup of your file blueprint-storage.dat, following these steps solved the problem for me:

- Uninstall Factorio
- In Steam, select version 1.1.110, disable Space ...

An verschiedenen Stellen steht Plattform, Raumplattform und Weltraumplattform. Die englishe Version ist diesbezüglich zwar auch nicht konsequent, aber sollte die deutsche Version hier konsequent sein und immer denselben Begriff verwenden?

When language is set to non-default, there is wasted UI space on the right hand side of the crafting menu. Issue only appears when there are >4 tabs in the crafting menu.

Expected behaviour: No wasted space on right hand side of crafting menu when game is set to non-default language.

Alt-tabbing out to desktop, then back to the game, shifts the Remote View UI element containing the hints about train controls from top right to top center. Zooming in to terrain-level restores it to original position.

Expected behaviour is that Alt-tabbing does not interfere with placement of UI ...

Make live display of other player's cursor position optional

It's simply too much visual "noise" for information that is nearly useless: Knowing what other players are looking at or interacting with. I find it especially irritating on crowded multiplayer servers. The whizzing around cursors are everywhere, even on the minimap.

Yeah, the "mechanic" of colored train wagons must be hidden in the vanilla game somewhere, as loading my 1.1 vanilla factory into 2.0 vanilla or space age reveals and discovering that most of my trains got colored wagons matching the loco color. However coloring train wagons seems not to be ...

Thanks for the info!

On closer inspection, I have noticed, that this is affected by the chosen language. The "wasted" area highlighted in my post above does *not* appear when the game is set to English, but *does* appear when the game is set to German.

I guess this thread should be moved to Bug ...

I solved it by downgrading to 1.1.110, restoring my backup I had made for that version, then carefully upgrading through 2.0 Stable no-DLC, then activate DLC.
