Re: Development and Discussion

Wow Angel's goes Yuoki :) Do you give your migration scripts some love after finishing the update or should we start anew? Greetings steinio I'll try my best but as you all know I'm pretty sloppy at that :P The disappearing mineral sludge recipes is a migration issue. Speaking of that, still waitin...

Re: Development and Discussion

The disappearing mineral sludge recipes is a migration issue. Speaking of that, still waiting on the dirt water migration from many months back. Seems the migrations could do with some love for this next update. As for the rows. It would be very nice to see mineral sludge create ores individually so...

Re: Development and Discussion

A quick glance and three bugs stood out. - Flotation cells only create Saphirite, Stiratite, and Bobmonium chunks. - Mineral sludge can't make ores anymore - Bob's ores started spawning outside the starting area. Other than that, the reduction of the gem chain and permitting creation of a specific g...

I do hope that's not meant to be taken literally. Making complex recipes should be a fun challenge and not tediously annoying.

Re: Uranium Power

Come up with what? I don't understand. I think he wants you to replace your ore with Angel's version instead, since he's not keen on having two types of the same ore. So he wants to use Angel's fluorite to make HF? And suffers a much longer process? Sure :!: :P I can make a compatibility script in ...

Re: Development and Discussion

Speaking of voiding, I've always felt the flare stack and clarifier needs a much higher pollution factor for that purpose. Since it's not always running and can be influenced with 2 speed modules, it wouldn't be too outrageous to have it at 9 PU (or a lot more) as I sort of doubt burning byproducts...

Re: Development and Discussion

It was interesting to read your concerns and encountered issues. Wish you'd replied on our post, I didn't see this because I didn't know you were replying to me initially. ;] Sorry, that was the intent but I had posted in the wrong thread. That said, the smelting problem has been mentioned a few ti...

Re: Development and Discussion

It was interesting to read your concerns and encountered issues. I'll address a couple that caught my eye in particular. 1. Saline water can be produced en masse thanks to the salination plant which creates 40 saline per 100 water. This also removes any issue with keeping on top of sodium hydroxide ...

Re: Show me yours...

The only real thing that bottlenecks this system is yellow sulfur water, something I haven't been able to barrel up in large numbers due to many sulfuric acid requirements other mods have. Quartz demand for petri dishes is heavy too, but easily remedied with a better mining setup. It was fun to des...

Re: Bugs & FAQ

Molten aluminum in smelting seems to require manganese, which I can't get... I removed the requirement from angels smelting and bobsagnelthon in my local install, but an official update to remove that requirement would be great! Bobsangelthon is responsible for that addition to the recipe, as it's ...

Re: Show me yours...

Managed to get some free time after the holidays to create a bio-lab of sorts. I can tell I'm really improving at factory development so I'm very proud of this one. (Took 5 hours) http://puu.sh/theHp/55ab4e9c72.png It creates 200 pink artifacts a minute, with 3.5/m for the other less used ones. Rese...

Re: Bugs & FAQ

Still missing the dirt water electrolysis migration, but the new updates were still a nice treat to play with. Now there's a lot of incentive to use barrels + robots given how rail tanker trains can be impractical given the mass number of gasses one may need to transport. Sure makes relocating easie...

Re: Uranium Power

I will introduce fluorite recycling recipes in 0.6.7 to minimize fluorite usage. This will allow recycling of the fluorine gas...This was a requested feature, quite awhile ago actually, that I've neglected or forgotten  . The side effects of this new feature will aggravate the production of f...

Re: Uranium Power

Calling Angel's and Bob's mod player. I need the minimum list of these two mods so that I can test them. Apparently mineral sludge is giving absurd amounts of fluorite and uraninite. I can not test because either one of them do not play nice. I guess Angel's is the culprit.... http://puu.sh/sGtkX/3...

Re: Bus or not to Bus

That looks really beautiful. Very clean setup. The only thing that would bother me is the amount of empty space. I think I would've put the Leeching plants vertically next to the sorters. And if I remember correctly the ratios in the smelting ares are slightly wrong. I think it's: 2-1-6-10-15. I pe...

Re: Bus or not to Bus

I'm currently also experimenting with a ore bus to bring the raw ore to the refining states and the refined ore to the sorters and the sorted to the smelting. But I haven't decided on a setup yet. Anyone having a good setup? I may as well share what I've come up with. http://puu.sh/sz7A9/714cc83d74...

Re: Bus or not to Bus

I believe this is what Breith means: http://puu.sh/syXQR/549f819d24.png However, one answer is kind of apparent. By doing a zig zag within the processing area to expand upon it. http://puu.sh/syY0U/c27ebc912c.png It makes for a very condensed but still functional processing line, as the work is cond...

Re: Bugs & FAQ

I hate to be that guy, but this isn't a problem given the Blast Furnace has always been more expensive, but why can't you be bothered to make 10 steel in a stone furnace? The Mk2 requires Aluminum plates and Electronic Circuit Boards which is a much greater leap over the other Mk2 buildings, but is...
