Re: new science packs

Aliens are like trees now.

In the way.

But at least you can get rid of them with fire or generous use of explosives.

Re: warehouse

I prefer to use trains and waiting bays lategame. That way I can wire up the bays to keep a solid flow of raw materials in. Without having to resort to piles of chests everywhere. And my usual response to material overflow is I'm not using it FAST enough. Need more smelters, beacons, manufacturing c...

Re: Do You Feel Full Logistic Behind Yellow Pushes Lasers Early?

Here's an idea.

What if the tech for active logistics was put behind a steep wall of the same tech (I think it's red green only right?) or possibly added blue.

That way if you do want to research it, it's semi walled off in this huge (2-3X) jump. Still obtainable, just not trivial.

Re: warehouse

Storage buffer in my bot based main base is roughly 10k for all plates and various other stuff usually sit in the low hundreds.

So if I want to shore up or expand I'm not waiting forever on a microbuffer.

Re: Do You Feel Full Logistic Behind Yellow Pushes Lasers Early?

I'm beginning to think of laser as a mid game item. Good to defend the base but not at full evo. With the addition of uranium bullets, and lategame production, turrets pull way ahead in damage. Lasers may have undefended damge. But I don't think it scales as well. Unless someone has a handy graph to...

Re: infinite research cost and effect (math!)

Nicely done!!

If anything the graphs really show the effect of the scaling in a nice visual format.

failure to load local achivement data.

Re: Train offloading

as a new player, and a partial engineer... and someone who always tries to follow K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple, Stupid) I'm looking at distance. I think you are unloading to much into the system. The chests fill up too quickly and jam, so the belts jam, but because the left most rail car has to move the...
