Re: Friday Facts #361 - Train stop limit, Tips and tricks
I think that use of the + and - keys to lay landfill and concrete/brick in larger or smaller patches per click and with click drag would be helpful in the tips. I still find myself telling players in multiplayer about this trick on a regular basis.

wohoo spidertron a requested feature for a very long time, and oh boy is it expensive, i some what expected it to use fuel, but with 2 fusion cores in it's recipe yeah i guess it can move on it's own power. recommendations: - if a nuke is loaded into it's launcher, it should not auto fire it with in...

Re: Friday Facts #359 - Crash site: The beginning
Really cool drills! But they have a small issue that i found with their model/hitbox. As you can see in the picture if you put 2 drills diagonally of one another, it seems like that there is enough space to squeak through, but that is not the case. there is mod called squeak through that allows wal...

Re: Friday Facts #358 - Alien decoratives & Polluted water
postponing the factorio party seems like a good idea once our area started reopening, covid cases skyrocketed again, when more people associate in close proximity, the virus spreads. this new world will see everyone wearing a mask to help slow the spread, but some people are stubborn and wont wear o...

18.36 request option unavailable despite show all items checked in options
I have the option to show all items in selection: option.jpg yet i can not request the item not yet researched, example satellite / space science. request.jpg previously i could set up these requests while waiting for the science to be researched. i know you made the change to not show them, but i t...

18.36 when starting a new game resources % are not displayed correctly
When starting a new game: - Single Player - New Game - Free play when hovering the mouse over one of the bars, the percentage on all resources show 17%, if i use the mouse wheel to scroll the bar higher or lower in values, the values are increased, or decreased by more than one segment. if you incre...

its good that you got to enjoy some time off and that bonding with your son re-inspired you to go back to work with renewed enthusiasm for work. don't feel bad about having taken some extra time off, the crew you have backing you up keep the work going and I'm sure you didn't just leave them hanging...

i have to agree the assembly machine 3 (yellow) is too loud compared to the rest of the entities in my base, the assembly machine 2 (blue) is also a tad loud, while assembly machine 1 (grey) is almost inaudible. suggest turning up the assembly 1 a slight bit, down assembly 2 a slight bit and turning...

Re: Friday Facts #355 - High resolution updates
imo if you push the date a bit you could probably use that time to make the assembly machine polish finishes you wanted, after all you wanted to bring 1.0 out before cyberpunk came out in September, but since it's been pushed back yet again, you could take that time back and get more work done, as y...

Re: Friday Facts #354 - Launch party and HR power switch
actually in my factory i make a fairly extensive use of them early on, because when the sun is down and i dont have accumulators yet the switch will power down all science and oil processing to not over load my steam setup i haven't expanded. but even in the time that i make use of my first reactor,...

oh my doesn't the fff page look different now, prep for 1.0 and looking forward to it. since cyberpunk was delayed don't feel like the couple of weeks you decided to rush 1.0 can't be reclaimed, for that matter if you need another month, take it. as you liked to say, it's ready when it's ready. as f...

Re: Friday Facts #351 - Beacon re-redesign & Simplified fluid mixing
wow a flush button, i feel like this probably should have been in the game ages ago, so many pipes I've had to totally remove to fix one bad placement. at least the fluid mixing prevention has helped, but now i place buildings and cant select a recipe because of the fluid mixing prevention logic, th...

Re: Friday Facts #350 - Electric mining drill redesign
i am also on the bandwagon for longer drilling time, vs moving around, imo the drill before move should be at least 5x the animation time it takes to move to the new location, but also on the point where i was used to the old design harvesting the ground with it's back and forth motion with the circ...

Re: Version 0.18.30
factorio.com updater is usually updated first because the devs control their own website, pushing it to steam then becomes a steam release update and is done on steam's schedule, sometimes a wait of 2 hours is not out of the ordinary. as for wanting to be one of the first to update, the experimental...

oh brother a 2 year old comment being quoted, yes i know factorio has automatic mod syncing now and it was sorely needed, makes joining a modded game so much better now.

Re: Version 0.18.22
being on experimental and with the prep for a 1.0 release, expect changes that are going to break mods and change things that would previously have a full version update to change. v18 has already seen alot of mods break because of changes and modifications, expect this to continue as the devs clean...

Re: Friday Facts #344 - Tile transition collisions & Team Steelaxe speedrun record.
oh my anyone complaining about wanting their money back from it being too short, isn't playing it very well. as you so eloquently put it, it took 200 hours of planning to get that 1:15:21 speed run. that in and of it's self an quite a accomplishment, congratulations. as for the biters being able to ...
