i don't feel loaders should be in vanilla without console/mods. i prefer figuring things out with stack inserters, circuits etc. however, i do like loaders for Lab (not science labs) work. testing layouts with infinity chests etc. my solution to bots vs belts is to use bots in very limited ways. mos...

what is the wait condition for unloading? if it has an 'or' time and doesn't unload anything, it can return full to the load stop and not have a chance to refuel.
i had a friend who had a nasty habit of creating that condition. trains running out of fuel left and right. :x

yes, save file would help. what is the wait condition at the fueling stop?
my guess is the wait condition isn't letting it get fuel.

Thx for help nice game it cost 20 Euros Steam ====> my games -----> Factorio----> Uninstall if you follow Factorio (friday facts), you will see Wube are constantly optimizing the game. every player's machine will have a limit on how large one can make a factory. i guess it's human nature to 'go big...

as far as i know and have tested, no they don't work on trains. still a nice boost from belt > loader> buffer chest > stack inserter > cargo wagon.
