I think the recursion mod and RSO are also pretty popular. So it's probably just a statistical deviation due to the small sample size.

I actually feel like there is quite the significant choice to be made with when to kill bases. Killing spawners will boost the evolution factor sharply, but keeping them around to absorb pollution will over time also slowly grow the evolution factor and send alien waves, which consumes resources to ...

How often would you realisticly use such a belt piece? 10 times in a 1 rocket a minute base? And it's already possible to do by using 1-6 additional tiles. The additional clutter introduced would outweigh the benefits imo.

A shorthand for both biters and spitters. The B comes from the Biters, the tt from the spitters and the rest is what both have in common.

Out of curiosity, in which cases would you want to mix steam and water? For the preheating thing it would also be possible to allow heat exchangers to allow water or steam. Also the same thing in different shapes beeing different items has well established precedents if factorio, see copper and copp...

Boilers were changed heavily in .15. They take water input on their 2 width side and output steam on 1 of their 3 width sides. 1 boiler can run 2 steam engines.

You could use active provider + storage chests, however that is very limiting and error-prone as you mustn't use the trash slots while in the specific logistics network and if you move more than one item type the danger of a chest filling up with only one type exists.

there needs to be a resource that you can obtain in small amounts without fighting biters but large amounts if you do choose to deal with them obtaining them without fighting should be really inefficient requiring: far more resources than just shooting nests or whatever they drop from much much mor...
