Re: PvP / Teamserver DE
Our first Event was a success (the loosing team wasnt TOO happy about it, but still) We would love to launch a new event (this time probably using the PvP-Scenario), but well also need more players for that. So, if you like, Register in our Forum, reply here or PM me or something. DE: Unser erstes E...

Re: Factorio Server For ARM (Pretty Please
Prescott is P-IV, Optiplex gx150 is P-III I think.
Still running these old Hardware is... not very economic, even if its not a Netburst.

[.15.13] Shooting tree (?) results in crash (InputActionDefragmenter::assemble)
The only thing i did was shoot a tree. With the C key. I did so on a new server, no mods, freshly joined. Save File is also included, but since the server didnt save before crashing probably not too helpfull. Server is Linux Server, Debian, in a Container. Further details can be provided if needed. ...

Re: Factorio Server For ARM (Pretty Please
what hardware draws 350W running a headless server? 60 would already be a lot. My secondary system idles at 35 Watts and has no fans spinning then. If the system runs the server, one core at full load, 60 seems about right. And i dont use any power optimized components there. Also, any type of ARM c...

PvP / Teamserver DE

Re: Run Factorio on Pi 3B?
Factorio is lightweight only on gpu. But pretty heavy on CPU. The multithread thingy is announced but got delayed for further versions, but even then a PI wpuld be far from being able to run this game. My old i5 2500 reches its limits in my current game and even at its age its far more potent than a...

Re: [MOD 0.13] AutoPvP - automated PvP map and forces
Im looking into some PvP - action on our server. So, i found this one and Spacebook. Both have their clear pros and cons, so... couple of questions (sorry if they have been answered before, i read the topic, but skimped over some things) Spacebook can be used in combination? What about the Spawning ...

I think you also can get a factorio.com login with download option if you got the Steam or GOG Version.
As far as i remember, I bought the game on Steam and linked it here...

Thoughts on PvP
We are currently planning to set up an additional PvP-Server. The problem is defining Rules. Id really like to get some Input. Where do we get a Map? Will it be a Team server or a Free for All (Probably Team) What about Nukes? In my eyes, theyre too powerfull, because they can basically obliterate a...

Re: I would like to ask why my user status is displayed as free
You can (probably) tell pretty easy if this was a Download Manager or a shared account by looking at the Time Period. Many download (connections) in a short "burst": Download-Manager. Many downloads over a longer period: Shared Account. A closer inpection of the Logfiles may even reveal mo...

Re: When you're making a factory, where do things most commonly go into grinding halt for you?
I play on a Multiplayer Server where at least one constantly connects new Ressources to the Network. We do run out of something sometimes, but not really for long. Same was before trains, we just used really long Belts. We reach a long pause when our Main Bus couldnt keep up with demand anymore and ...

We had some Problems with Biters on our multiplayer-Server. But that may be because we advance rather slow compared to our pollution output.
