I think with a single memory cell where you can store multiple data + proper filtering, you can achieve great things. So the numbers are saved as quantities of signals. I've developed one version of memory cell that I've shared here: https://forums.factorio.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=14584&p=20...

I did a modification to allow Read Write and Erase quite easily. Read and Write are done in 1 tick (I think) Erase is the same unknown amount as before :D. So Here there is the demo: WREdemo.jpg I didnt compacted the " write Read section" but it can be customized easily. Now it works like ...

Temperature of the superheated steam affects the amount of energy it carries. The higher the steam temperature, the lower the amount of it is consumed by the turbine. So while your setup may not produce any immediately noticeable effects, it might cause steam flux issues in the long run in a system...
