That does mean that you can't actually make cobalt until blue science. Is there anyway that the copper/cobalt recipe can be moved into non-electronic furnaces?

I get an error if I try and load angel's refining without angel's infinite ores, it can't find the resource-category angels-fissure.

The smelting steps are faster if going at full throughput, vanilla plates recipes are 1 per 3,5 seconds, casting machines will pump out 2 per 4 seconds. Also yes it's to expand later to make alloys from ingots, so there will be different steel mixtures, another things is you can get interesting set...

Can you trigger the process by reading the hand contents of the inserter emptying the smelter to the right? (In 0.13 at least). Use some kind of short timer to detect when it can't drop the plates onto the belt for N ticks. The switch to steel also needs to disable that inserter though, so the iron...
